we weren’t always like this.

but overtime, this is what we blossomed into.

Telling others’ love stories has become a reflection of our own. We’re grateful for every moment we get to spend together and the trust our clients place in us.

we never would have guessed how strong of an impact it would have on us before starting Dunckel Haus.

(LOVER’S VERSION)

Hannah and Josh first met while working together at Taco Bell in Muncie back in 2012. (Shout out McGalliard) Although, their story wouldn’t blossom until the summer of 2015 when they became inseparable - until Josh moved to Cincinnati. Wild lol. So they spent a bunch of time driving to see each other, exploring a new city, reaching further out into their world, eager to venture together. Days passed, turning to months of collected memories together scattered throughout the midwest with each other, Josh started working on a plan to propose. Without the knowledge of most friends and family, they were able to escape to Maine for a surprise weekend of exploration of the coast. Just after sunrise on top of Cadillac Mountain Josh and Hannah were engaged. Storybook almost, one could say. They were married in August of 2019.

OUR STORY

We weren’t even photographers when we got married. As a graduation present to himself, Josh bought a camera for fun and to fuel his childhood dream of being a photographer. We started with one camera and a dream to capture. We upgraded to each of us having a camera for sessions and started learning side by side. Admist the pandemic we realized that we were each other’s best subjects and started doing creative portraits of each other for fun and to pass the days sheltered. These days together allowed our love for photography to flourish and expand to capturing others stories. The joy and fulfillment we receive documenting such precious moments for our clients has brought us closer to each other and fueled our desires to expand our wedding business.
